- 'It Goes On' has the potential to coast on autopilot, but creativity of Westside Cowboy saves their debut LP from stagnating
- Westside Cowboy Interview: Losing Their Debut Test Pressing & Hearing ‘It Goes On’ | Test Pressing | Olivia Swift | www.linkedin.com
- Test Pressing is finally here 🎉 We have been working so hard on this for the last few months, and I could not be prouder of it. Particularly excited that I managed to convince one of my favourite artists right now to come on for episode 1 🤠 Westside Cowboy brought along their test pressing of 'It Goes On' and sat down with broadcaster Deb Grant to talk about their love of physical media, early vinyl experiences, and the making of their critically acclaimed debut album. Together they listen back to their test pressing, dissect it and reflect on the impact its had.
The conversation was expertly produced by Aisha Williams, creatively edited by Mike Dunbar, and Exec produced by me. The series is the brainchild of Sam Oliveira - such a great idea and partnered perfectly with Vinyl Alliance and Audio-Technica. Future episodes include Jazz group Kokoroko, and vinyl obsessive Mr Scruff which are so so good.
Have a watch and let us know who you'd like to see on future episodes! 🪩
